Saint Joseph's University is committed to promoting a culture of inclusion. The Catholic, Jesuit tradition that guides the University calls its students to be men and women with and for others, and those others are many. The University offers a number of services to help further its course in diversity.
Office of Institutional Diversity
The Office of Institutional Diversity is committed to focusing on diversity as an integral part of the mission of Saint Joseph's University. The office works to help the university develop an infrastructure that will seek, encourage and nurture diversity at all levels of the institution.
Office of Multicultural Life
The Office Of Multicultural Life seeks to enlighten and educate the University community at large through programming that focuses on issues of diversity. Serving as a bridge of support for students of color, the Office of Multicultural Life roots students to the campus community. Through workshops, diversity training, community service, and diversity lectures the office works to bring student diersity to the forefront of the University's consciousness. The Multicultural Life umbrella encompasses seven unique groups: the Asian Student Association (ASA), Black Student Union (BSU), Caribbean Student Association (CSA), Voice of Praise Gospel Choir (VOP), Latino Student Association (LSA), International Student Association (ISA), and the Hawks of India.
